600,000 manufacturing jobs lost in the obama presidency. the rate actually is pretty static from when he took office to where we are today but the president can make the case he inherited a recession and a ditch. it did go over 10% at one point. it's better now than at the high point of the obama presidency. those are national numbers. we elect presidents state by saturday. in some of the key battleground states, the news is better. in others, worse. in colorado, the rate is up quite a bit since president obama took office, same in nevada, up at 12%, the highest state in the country. importantly it is down in iowa, down in ohio, the key midwestern battleground states. you take a look here. if your state is green, that's good news. you see, unemployment's going down in ohio, down in iowa, down a bit in virginia, all key battlegrounds.
